YPAREX

Yparex supplies adhesive tie layers to highly advanced markets such as medical packaging, food packaging, high-voltage cables, and building and construction applications such as pipe and cladding panels. The business used to be a product group of the multinational company DSM Engineering Plastics. In 2011, Yparex was acquired by i4hi through a carve-out transaction and was merged with Ecoforte. An intensive change program was implemented, including the development of advanced production facilities in Ecoforte’s factory in Enschede, an intensification of R&D efforts, and the targeting of new product-market combinations. The business is now a global leader in its field and has grown significantly since the acquisition.
